LPL Science & Engineering Fair 2025
Liverpool Public Library values STEAM education and getting students together, so we are excited to offer our 5th Annual Science & Engineering Fair!
This non-competitive event is open to all students in grades K-12. There are no specific rules or required format. Simply choose and complete a science/engineering project, record your findings, create a display board, and show off your work on March 1st!
All participants will be entered into a random drawing for a Mad Scientist prize!
Guidelines for the LPL Science & Engineering Fair
1-on-1 Appointments
If you need help or have questions, you can make an appointment with our STEM programmer, Katie Storey, here or by emailing sciencefair@lpl.org.
You will need to make a display board for your project. Display boards show your steps through the scientific method and usually have one or two pictures of your experiment. You can make this as fun and colorful as you like, as long as you have all of the information! At minimum, you'll need a question and/or hypothesis, materials list, procedure, results, and conclusion. An abstract, background research, future directions, and sources are optional for the LPL Science Fair, but can give your readers a better understanding of your hard work!
The following is taken and edited from Sciencebuddies.com. You can find more information on display boards at their page here.
