Liverpool Public Library values STEAM education and getting students together, so we are excited to offer a Virtual Science Fair!  

This non-competitive event is open to all students in grades K-12 who are homeschooled, learning remotely, or doing a hybrid plan. There are no specific rules or required format. Simply choose and complete a science project, record it, or take photos of your process and submit a brief summary to be viewed online. In addition to the online submittal, participants have a chance to live share at our optional Zoom event on March 31st.  
All participants will be entered into a random drawing for a Mad Scientist prize! 


Guidelines the LPL Virtual Science Fair

  • Find a project and perform the scientific method. See resources on this page for help with ideas and the process.
  • Register for the Science Fair at the Liverpool Library Calendar: lpl.org
  • Beginning March 22nd, email (sciencefair@lpl.orgcompleted registration form AND at least one of the following:
    • A video (three minutes or under; videos do not have to include faces) 
    •  photos (max 3) 
    • poster image 
  • Submissions will be accepted March 22nd- March 29th. Submissions will be posted on this page. 
  • The live-share event on March 31st is optional. Registrants on the lpl.org calendar will receive the Zoom invite.
  • By submitting a project, you agree to have your work shared on our website and/or social media.
